Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)

At Montem we strive to ensure that all children receive a high-quality and ambitious education.  We believe that it is vital that our pupils are equipped with the tools needed to become independent, inquisitive learners both in and out of the classroom.  Some of the children in our school have a special educational need and/or disability (SEND) and require additional support in order to access our curriculum.  This provision is managed by  Miss B Kershaw, our Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo), and Miss L Winsor, our SEND Teacher.  If you would like to contact Miss Kershaw or Miss Winsor to discuss your child, please do not hesitate to contact them via the school office.
