RHS School Gardening Awards

At Montem Academy we believe that gardening and feeling connected to nature can change lives. These awards provide a structure to develop gardening through the curriculum and a way to celebrate your progress.

Level 1 is about starting out on your school's gardening journey and getting growing.

Level 2 you'll be gardening to support wellbeing, using pupils' ideas to steer your plans and developing new growing skills.

Level 3 is about planet-friendly gardening, growing a range of plants and keeping your plants healthy.

Level 4 focuses on linking gardening to the curriculum, gardening to support wildlife and sharing your plants or seeds.

Level 5 is about gardening with your community, gardening through the seasons and planning for the future.
