Montem Academy aims to create a welcoming environment for all pupils, including those with visual impairments. We are dedicated to training more teachers and support staff in inclusive teaching methods. Our goal is to provide specialised training that focuses on the needs of visually impaired pupils, using assistive technologies and adaptive strategies. We want to build a culture of understanding and support, ensuring all staff are prepared to help these pupils succeed. By partnering with experts in visual impairment, we will enhance our curriculum and resources, enabling every pupil to thrive academically and socially. Ultimately, we want to empower all pupils to reach their full potential and build their confidence.
