Although children are not born with prejudice, by early childhood they have already acquired stereotypes or negative attitudes toward those that they perceive as “others.” 

At Montem Academy we want our children to:

• grow up in a world free from bias and discrimination, to reach for their dreams and feel that whatever they to accomplish in life is possible;
• be inspired by the traditions, languages, cultures, and national or racial identities they encounter;
• learn about the past; recognising and acknowledging the historical injustices that have taken place over time;
• appreciate the contribution that Black and ethnic minorities groups have made to art, sports, music, literature, maths and science.

At Montem Academy we aim to provide a curriculum that embraces diversity and strengthens the Montem family.
