Maths helps us understand and engage with the world, from everyday tasks such as managing money and following recipes to analysing data and solving problems. It is a fundamental skill that is used in every aspect of life.
Maths is also the foundation for many other subjects. Science, Geography, Design and Technology rely heavily on mathematical concepts and skills. A strong foundation in maths will better prepare students for success in these subjects.
At Montem Academy, we believe providing all children with a solid foundation in mathematics is essential. This foundation equips students with the basic maths skills and knowledge needed to access the national curriculum, potentially preventing struggles in later years.
