Meet the School Councillors

Sequoia:

Arham - 

Areeba - My name is Areeba and I am from 3 Sequoia. I am selected as a school councillor to listen to your concerns and ideas, especially on how to make the school a better place for everyone. I am here to listen to your ideas and concerns and to discuss them with the management.

Oak:

Kevin - Hi, my name is Kevin and my favourite colour is red and my favourite hob by is football. I like being a school councillor because I love to clean up rubbish and help people when they are sad and I can be their friend. 

Nurayn -  Hi, my name is Nurayn. I have always wanted to be a part of the school council because I am very helpful and I love caring for others. If someone is sad or feels lonely I will always try my best to make them happy.

Eshal  - Hi, my name is Eshal and I like art. I want to be on the school council because I want to make my school even more fun. For example, more clubs and more break time.

Haadi - Hi, I am Haadi. I want to be on the school council because I want to help people if they get hurt, even if they are not my friends. I will help people if they need help. I want to try and create a sprinting and jumping club.

Sequoia:

Aisha - Hi, my name is Aisha. I like cats and I do gymnastics as a hobby. My favourite colour is red and I enjoy learning about science and art. I want to be on the school council because I really like making people laugh. I am trustworthy and I always try my best.

Yahya - Hi! My name is Yahyah, I’m 8 years old. My favourite hobby is making comic books/ I want to be a school counsellor because I want to help people if they need help.

Oak:

Michelle - Hi! My name is Michelle. My favourite subject at school is maths. I wanted to be on the school council because I want to help people and make sure everyone feels welcome.

Saihaan -  Hi, I’m Saihaan and I am really excited to be a part of the school council. I want to help others. The role of the school council is to be a voice for other students and teachers in the school. I can use my previous experience of eco ambassador to reduce littering and engage classmates to do recycling. My favourite sport is football!

Zaroon - My name is Zaroon and I am 8. My favourite subject is art. I like being school council because I like to help pick up rubbish and help teachers.

Shay - Hi, my name is Shay and I enjoy football and netball and I’m 8 years old. I want to be on the school council because I can help people and make new people feel welcome/ My favourite colours are purple, blue and yellow.

Ibrahim - Hello, my name is Ibrahim and I am school council for 5 Oak. I have also been school council for 2 years in a row because I really love being a part of school council!

Fariha - Hi, my name is Fariha. I love being on the school council because I like to deal with problems and turn problems into friendship and that’s what I like. I like to make people feel welcome and have friends to play with. My favourite hobby is netball and help people.

Fathima - Hi, I'm Fathima. I wanted to be on the school council because I want to be able to help people around the school and make sure they are happy. 

Cedar:

Hassan - Hi, I am Hassan. I like to be on the school council because I like to help people if they are having problems or having disputes. I would love to resolve them fairly. I have one sibling and I know he can count on me everytime he feels he is not happy.

Kavisha - Hi, my name is Kavisha. I like being on the school council because I get to help people around the school. My favourite hobby is football. I care for the environment and sometimes I pick up litter around the school.

Hamza - Hello, my name is Hamza. I always try to be my best in school and I try to set a good examples to the rest of the school. I am also a sports leader. I try to help everyone and guide them to become sports leaders or other leaders too.

Sifaat - Hello, my name is Sifaat and I am 10 years old. I am in 6 Sequoia. In my free time I like to play basketball and my favourite subject is maths.

Oak:

Amina - Hi, my name is Amina and I’m in Year 6. I think I am going to be good for the job because I am funny, hardworking and easy to come to. I will be a great student and I am to stop littering and make school a more fun and kind place for everyone.

Ahad -  Hi, my name is Ahad and I am 10 years old. I’m in year 6 and I am hoping I’ll pass my 11+. My favourite subject is PE and I am also a sports leader. My ambition is to become a basketball player.

Abdullah - Hi! My name is Abdullah, I'm 11 years old and I wanted to be a school councillor because I want to help people who are sad in school and I want to help the school in different ways.

Semion - Hi, I'm Semion and I really like art, fishing and insetc. I like animals and my hobbies are fishing and drawing. I believe I can take on this role as I can be helpful and I'm kind. I help children at lunch and pick up any litter I see. I promise to make Montem Academy a kinder and cleaner place. 

Arfa - Hello, my name is Arfa and I am 10 years old. I am kind and I want to be on the school council because I want to help everyone to excel in their learning. I want to be a role model to everyone. I want to make sure everyone is OK and share my ideas with school.
