On the 17th October, the children in Year 6, as part of their upcoming topic on World War II, spent the day at the RAF Museum in Northholt, London exploring Britain’s rich aviation history. They were treated to a fantastic front row display of some of the most famous planes used to defend the country’s shores during one of the darkest times in our history as well as learning about the roles that they actually played. If that wasn’t enough, the children spent part of the day in a 1940s classroom and experienced what it would have been like for their counterparts back in World War II
