in year 2 learnt about Dinosaurs across a range of subjects. Maths
lessons consisted of children learning about comparing and estimating
the size of Dinosaurs and their footprints in relation to their own.
Geography lessons consisted of children learning about the continual
drift during the different eras when Dinosaurs were alive. Science
lessons involved learning about the life cycle of Dinosaurs compared to
humans, and History lessons taught children about the time periods of
different eras and Dinosaur extinction. To top of a great week of
cross-curricular Dino-learning, children had a go at excavating fossils
on our very own Montem excavation site. To conclude the week, children
produced fantastic instructions of how to excavate, and reports on
their finding during this excavation.
