School Council Family Trip to Oxford on Saturday 21st April 2018
On Saturday 21st April, a group of families from across the Key Stages took part in an exciting School Council Family day trip by coach to the beautiful city of Oxford, famous worldwide for its prestigious University.   The Victorian poet Matthew Arnold called Oxford “the city of dreaming spires” after the stunning architecture of its university buildings.

The sun was shining as we all took the Hop On/Hop Off Bus for a tour of the city, which included Oxford Castle, the Sheldonian Theatre, and University Park, not to mention Christ Church College, a key filming location in the Harry Potter series.  We also enjoyed watching traditional English Morris Dance performances in celebration of St George’s Day.

Thank you to all those families who joined us on this trip.  We will be sending a letter out soon to invite you to join us on the annual School Council Family Seaside Trip.
