At Montem Academy, we focus on vocabulary development throughout our curriculum.

We believe that vocabulary is the foundation of all language, providing pupils with the necessary building blocks to express themselves, connect with others, develop critical thinking and confidence, and build life skills and personal relationships. 

To support our pupils, we have created year group specific vocabulary books which provide a comprehensive overview of the vocabulary the pupils will learn and use across all subject areas.
